(New York) – The Chinese government should immediately release the artist and outspoken critic Ai Weiwei and end its arbitrary crackdown on dissent, Human Rights Watch said today. Ai was arrested at Beijing airport on the morning of April 2, 2011, as he was about to board a flight for Hong Kong.
