Letter to United Kingdom’s Home Secretary Theresa May and Foreign Secretary William Hague on Deportation of Rejected Asylum

We believe that Sri Lankan nationals who have been affiliated with or are considered to be supporters of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), would be at significant risk of persecution if deported back to Sri Lanka. We do not know if such persons are among those being deported, but would urge you to ensure that they are not, given the risk.
