Colombo (The Island/ANN) – The Sri Lankan government has come under heavy NGO flak on the sidelines of the 19th sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, with President Mahinda Rajapaksa strongly criticised for introducing the 18th Amendment to the Constitution, to pave the way for him to contest the next presidential polls.
