Western governments and human rights organizations are condemning the ongoing attacks against Syrian citizens by the armed forces of President Bashar al-Assad. Tuesday, security forces entered Hama, where thousands of Syrians were killed in 1982 during an uprising against his father. It is unknown how many people died during that uprising.
